You’ve come across Apophis, Majasa’s Vessel Maiden. She’s well guarded and seems to have no intention of speaking with you after your rather violent entry to the Temple
Apophis was undeterred by your dispatching of her guards and has managed to bring forth Void creatures to occupy you as she slithers off deeper into the Temple. Fight back the tide of Void and continue after her!

Unfortunately, Majasa’s mind was too far gone and you had to end her life. Even if she had a shred of sanity left, the injuries she inflicted upon herself in battle would have been far too much to ever recover from.
Thankfully the Lance of Heorot absorbed her power from her blood which seems to have worked in place of her blessing.
