    • Chance To Summon Twisters Upon Reaching 0 Stacks 10%
    When your number of Maelstrom stacks reaches 0, you have a chance to summon 2 to 4 Twisters, a spell that deals cold damage to enemies hit. The number of Twisters is random, and the chance to summon them is multiplied by the highest number of stacks you reached.

    When your number of Maelstrom stacks reaches 0, you release a Tsunami, a cold spell that deals damage multiplied by your highest stack count.

    • Maelstrom And Tsunami Damage +10% per point
    • Stack Duration -10% per point
    Maelstrom and Tsunami deal more damage (multiplicative with other modifiers), but Maelstrom stacks have a shorter duration.

    Maelstrom also heals allies in its area of effect each second.

    Maelstrom's base cold damage is converted to physical. Consequently this damage scales with increases to physical damage, but not increases to cold damage. Chill chance from this tree is converted to slow chance. Maelstrom can no longer freeze, but each stack of Maelstrom grants increased physical damage.

    While you have 6 or more stacks, you strike a nearby enemy with Lightning each second.

    Lightning can strike additional targets.

    Killing an enemy has a chance to create a stack of Maelstrom. This effect has a 2 second cooldown.

    If you have 6 stacks of Maelstrom or more, you gain Haste.

    • Frenzy At 6 Or More Stacks
    If you have 6 stacks of Maelstrom or more, you gain Frenzy.
